Designed and developed to offer tenants optimal light and space through a ‘back to back’ design, the Sky House development offers a community feel through contemporary architecture. Outside of Sheffield, this brand-new scheme boasts houses that ae split over four levels featuring a spacious rooftop terraces and balconies. As a contrast to the concrete lines in the building’s exterior we designed the interiors to have a soft focus. Using textured layering through knits, faux sheep skin and cottons we made the space feel warm, inviting with a ‘Scandi’ feel. We kept the furniture to a light oak and minimal to encourage the flow of space throughout. In the accessories we added a subtle contrast with black framed gallery wall art and dark soft furnishings. The use of space and light was key to this design, incorporating a variety of indoor plants breathed life and colour in the interiors, bringing the outdoors in.
