Key Facts:

  • 3 Keynotes
  • 3 ARL People Awards
  • 6 in depth breakout sessions
  • 40+ exhibitors
  • 500 visitors from the BTR sector

LOFT x ARL Partnership

This event saw the continued partnership between ARL and LOFT, as we were delighted to collaborate again by providing the furniture for the two stages at the conference. Our Chum Chair was used for the main stage where the keynotes, panels and award presentations took place.

LOFT x ARL have proudly worked together in partnership for years, with a shared vision of promoting the importance and value of the BTR Sector in providing quality homes across the UK, and in bringing the sector together to collaborate, improve and innovate.

ARL Conference – Key Takeaways

ACTIONS NOT WORDS was one key takeaway of the Conference, as echoed by Brendan in his keynote address.

Another key focus was on elevating rental living – to Government, policy makers, local authorities, consumers and across the wider BTR sector.

An Industry Shaper

LOFT’s founder, Benjamin Hall, was also awarded the ‘Industry Shaper’ award this year.

“I am truly honoured to receive this award. This recognition is not only an important personal achievement but a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire LOFT team in the interior design, residential furnishings and build-to-rent sector.

I would like to thank the ARL and the judges for the recognition. I also want to acknowledge my friends, colleagues, suppliers, competitors and partners who have inspired and supported LOFT throughout this journey since 2003”.

What Tenants Are Actually Telling the Rental Sector
Goodlord's 2026 report surveyed 2,650 letting agents, landlords, and tenants. The conclusions make uncomfortable reading across the board. When tenants are asked what would most transform their experience of renting, the answer isn't an app or a piece of legislation. It's the state of their home.
Why Furniture Packages Are the Smarter Way to Furnish a Rental Property
Furnishing a rental property has always involved a balancing act - quality versus cost, speed versus choice, consistency versus convenience. For landlords managing one or two buy-to-lets, piecemeal sourcing from multiple retailers might just about work. But as the rental market shifts, that approach is becoming increasingly hard to justify.
