Property Staging FAQs
How quickly can LOFT stage a property?
LOFT can usually move quickly once we have the key property details, including the address, floor plan, number of rooms, target market and required staging date. Lead times depend on furniture availability, access, location and project size, but our team will always advise the earliest realistic installation date when preparing your quote. For urgent property staging, show home dressing or rental furniture enquiries, it is best to contact us as early as possible so we can reserve stock and plan delivery.
What information do you need to quote for property staging?
To quote accurately for property staging, we usually need the property address, floor plan, number of bedrooms, living spaces, target buyer or tenant profile, preferred style, timescales and whether you need furniture rental, purchase or a full staging package. Photos or videos of the property are also helpful, especially if access is limited. The more detail provided upfront, the easier it is for LOFT to recommend the right furniture, accessories and installation approach.
Can you stage an empty property without a site visit?
Yes, in many cases LOFT can prepare a property staging proposal from floor plans, photos, videos and property details. A site visit may still be recommended for larger homes, unusual layouts, show apartments or properties with access restrictions. This helps confirm room sizes, delivery access, lift availability, parking, styling requirements and any practical considerations before the staging installation takes place.
Do I need to clear or prepare the property before staging?
The property should be clean, accessible and ready for furniture installation before the LOFT team arrives. Any building work, decorating, snagging or deep cleaning should ideally be completed in advance, as this helps protect the furniture and allows the staging to be installed efficiently. We also recommend confirming parking, lift access, keys, concierge details and any site rules ahead of delivery.
What happens to the furniture after the property sells or rents?
Once the property sells, rents or no longer needs to be staged, LOFT can arrange collection of the rental furniture and accessories. If the buyer, landlord or developer wants to keep the furniture in place, there may also be an option to purchase the staged furniture package. This can be useful for landlords, serviced accommodation operators, show homes or buyers who want a ready-to-live-in property.
