LOFT x Ashadu | Celebrating 20 years furnishings homes in Manchester

LOFT commission Ashadu photography for drone photography residential case study, in celebration of furnishing homes in Manchester since 2003.

Whilst working with Akemia Minott from Moss Side youth charity 84youth, LOFT was introduced to a pair of ambitious and talented teenage brothers, Samuel, and Ethan Ashadu.

Akemia, Director at 84 Youth, told us

“As soon as I met Benjamin Hall and the team at LOFT, I knew that by introducing him to the Ashadu brothers something special would happen. The hunger and entrepreneurial spirit is so strong from both sides – I’m delighted it worked out!”

As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility and commitment to supporting the local Manchester community, LOFT commissioned Ashadu Photography and instructed the brothers to create a digital case study for LOFT's 20th year anniversary celebrations.

Founder Benjamin Hall explained;

“Immediately after meeting Samuel and Ethan at the social space we’d donated to 84 Youth, I knew the brothers had something, they were so quietly confident and humble, we clicked straight away. We then identified 12 key residential schemes across Manchester that were exclusively furnishedby LOFT and played a huge part in our story and growth since 2003, we asked the lads to create a case study using drone footage – as you can see, the results were incredible...”

"We feel honoured and privileged to have played our part in Manchester’s recent history; creating homes, and providing a furnishing solution to some of the most prominent residential developments in the city over the last 20 years. Social inclusion is a core company value at LOFT, and we were delighted to provide Ashadu with an opportunity to show the residential property sector their talent. A special mention also goes to Kate Derbyshire, who project managed, mentored, and edited the footage on behalf of LOFT, alongside Ashadu – great work.”

How to Get More From Your Property Sale: A Guide to Staging That Works
Most sellers focus on price and timing. Too few focus on presentation - which is, in practical terms, the variable most within their control. The difference between a property that sells in three weeks and one that sits on the market for three months is rarely location or asking price. More often, it comes down to how the property looks on the day a buyer first encounters it, usually as a thumbnail on Rightmove, usually within a few seconds of deciding whether to click.
What Tenants Are Actually Telling the Rental Sector
Goodlord's 2026 report surveyed 2,650 letting agents, landlords, and tenants. The conclusions make uncomfortable reading across the board. But buried within the findings is a signal that cuts through the noise about regulation, technology, and fee structures. When tenants are asked what would most transform their experience of renting, the answer isn't an app or a piece of legislation. It's the state of their home.
Why Furniture Packages Are the Smarter Way to Furnish a Rental Property
Furnishing a rental property has always involved a balancing act - quality versus cost, speed versus choice, consistency versus convenience. For landlords managing one or two buy-to-lets, piecemeal sourcing from multiple retailers might just about work. But as the rental market shifts, that approach is becoming increasingly hard to justify.
