Nautical-Inspired show home
LOFT created a nautical-inspired show home to celebrate the seaside location of Willow & Dean House.
This development saw Ocasa Homes give the two buildings, Willow House and Dean House, large-scale refurbishments to bring them back to life and offer lovely living spaces for residents.
Seaside development location
Towards the north of Liverpool, Willow & Dean House is in the suburb of Waterloo. With both a small high street and train station (with direct links to Liverpool city centre) it’s the perfect suburb location for people who want amenities on their doorstep, easy access to the city and to enjoy living by the sea.
Why? Because it’s within walking distance of Crosby Beach. A hugely popular sandy beach, with a boating lake, sea wall and the famous art installation - Another Place.
This seaside location was a huge influence on the interior design of the show home. However, with a strict budget to adhere to, we had to be creative in how we could bring the seaside inside.
Show home Interior Design
LOFT’s inspiration for this show home was ‘a day at the beach’. We established this with design elements such as:
- White linen sheets with blue and stripy accent cushions
- Favouring natural textures like wood instead of metal
- Light furnishings and accents
- Pops of blue, including a statement sofa
- Floral beach accessories
LOFT Interior Designers prioritised furniture and accessories which would allow us to tastefully stick to the budget and theme, without going overboard and looking too much like a beachside holiday property. The aim was to keep this show home looking beachy but liveable.
Why LOFT were chosen
LOFT and Ocasa have worked on a number of projects over the years, furnishing thousands of rooms together.
Initially, Ocasa chose to work with LOFT because of our availability to do bulk installations of accommodation in short time scales and at a fantastic price point. Our two UK warehouses allow us to hold a lot of stock, ready to be delivered efficiently.

Over the years, the relationship between Ocasa and LOFT has gone from strength to strength. During this time, we have proven our ability in initially designing bedrooms and then entire apartments, all within the timeframes and budgets to suit the Developer.
Furnishing Willow & Dean House
Following the success of the show home, LOFT went on to furnish 52 apartments in Willow & Dean House in the same style. By choosing a tasteful theme and sticking to the budget, this meant that the apartments were suitable for future residents and allowed them to experience the aspirational lifestyle they first saw in the show home.
