Interior Design for Millers Quay
Through our interior design, we aim to deliver the most welcoming living environments, creating designs that bring the vision of our clients to life.
Drawing inspiration from the area’s rich maritime heritage and milling history dating back to the 1900s, LOFT’s interior design team has crafted thoughtful spaces within Millers Quay.
The team selected furniture to complement the distinct colours of each block, as well as the natural environment. They drew particular inspiration from the River Mersey, and the development’s waterfront location.

Colours and architectural features
The carefully curated colour palette pays homage to the dock’s industrial past, whilst creating contemporary, sophisticated living spaces across a combination of one beds, two beds and duplexes.
The designs focused on creating spaces for the needs of today’s renters, with every detail thoughtfully curated to enhance the modern lifestyle - selecting quality, stylish and versatile pieces.
The architecture also influenced our design approach, with each colour carefully selected to complement each striking building. The designs were developed to seamlessly blend with the surrounding dockside walkways, cycle routes and the historic Birkenhead Park, creating homes that celebrate both indoor comfort and outdoor living.
A sustainable, groundbreaking development
These highly sustainable, south-facing waterfront apartments set Millers Quay apart and showcase a new standard of rental living. The scheme also delivers social value through 100 affordable new homes included in the blocks.
This was an exciting and rewarding brief, to furnish apartments for a development that is truly innovative and built for its residents.
The award-winning Millers Quay is set to complete in 2025 and upon completion, LOFT will have furnished over 350 homes for Wirral Waters.
