About LOFT: Our story

LOFT was founded in 2003 by Ben Hall. He would work in his Dad’s second-hand furniture shop in Manchester but wanted to expand to offer affordable furniture across the UK.

Today, LOFT still has its headquarters in Manchester, and we have a second location in London, so we can deliver furniture as quickly across the country. Ben’s still at the helm with his Dad, bringing family values to the business.

These days, LOFT has established itself as a leading furniture supplier in the property industry.

As well as working with businesses, we have furniture for sale. Some of the pieces you may find in high-end apartments available.

We even have an in-house recycling facility for all the furniture that comes back to us, or if it's in good enough condition we will donate it to our charity partners.

Furniture Options

At LOFT, we’re passionate about creating furnishing options that work for everyone's needs.

With every product you can add on an ‘Unpack and Assemble’ service so we can build the furniture in the room of your choice. Then we will remove the packaging to our in house recycling facilities.

We also offer a ‘Remove and Recycle’ service which means when you buy a piece from LOFT, we will remove the furniture its replacing. Again, thanks to our recycling hubs we are able to strip these down to avoid them going to landfill. However, if we decide the furniture is in good enough nick, we’ll donate it to one of our charity partners.

These services are particularly useful for people furnishing properties they don’t have easy access to. We can even do key collections from estate agents – just leave us a note at checkout!
